Blue Streaks earn share of first Federal title

Audrey Myers scored a game-high 15 points as the Blue Streaks clinched at least a share of their first Federal League girls basketball title Thursday.

Lake has two league games remaining against McKinley and Perry.

“We are all proud of the girls,” said Lake head coach Henry Cobb. “This is our first championship in the Federal League, and we control our own destiny from here on out.”

McKenna Stephens added nine points and eight rebounds for Lake (15-0, 10-0).

Maddy Repp was the Golden Eagles’ leading scorer with seven.
